Doula Services
From Pre-Conception to postpartum or anywhere in-between
I am a doula and my role is to hold a strong, still, supportive space for you in labour. I help to create a birthing space that is trustworthy, authentic and open hearted. This is to assist you and your partner to follow the rhythm of labour without resistance. It supports your body to naturally flow with the surges. When you release resistance to the power of birth, you move into the altered state of awareness that is the natural home for a birthing woman. Then your labour can unfold from your own place of inner courage, confidence and knowing.
Babies born into this sacred birthing field remain connected to a high frequency of consciousness. This allows them to retain their innate wisdom and unconditional love.
Unborn child sessions
As your doula I can provide birth, pre- and post-partum emotional support. I offer sessions for connecting to the soul of your unborn baby pre-conception, during pregnancy, post-partum and when you feel the need to resolve challenging emotions. Clients who have experienced the wisdom and love of their unborn babies pre-birth, often stay connected to their babies on a soul level during labour. This shifts their relationship dynamic in a profound way that can last for years after birth.
Advocacy
Part of my role is to assist you (if you ask for it) to make informed decisions about your care throughout the perinatal period. This advocacy role is best described as support, information, and mediation or negotiation.
However, I do not speak on your behalf or make decisions for you.
What a doula isn't
I do not perform clinical or medical tasks, diagnose or treat my clients medically.

What a doula is
A doula is someone who is in service to others. A soul doula is in service to their soul essence, whether at birth, at death or at any of life’s transitional stages in between. A soul doula stands in their own inner clarity and soul knowing so that they may support others to find that soul essence within themselves.
For doulas
Our Mama Bamba doula training course provides wholehearted professional training to doulas, from all walks of life, to love and support birthing mothers. I also train previously certified doulas as soul doulas or ‘soulas’.
